Supply It Forward
Supplying backpacks & school supplies for 1,200 students annually.
Each year, AEF hosts its annual Supply It Forward back to school supply drive. The event is available to all students on free & reduced lunch, but must register to attend. Students shop for all the supplies they need to be creative, innovative, and excellent!
During the event, students receive much needed school supplies and a free goody bag. A resource area is available to families with community resources and supports for families.

We were fortunate to have over 50 community volunteers, including ACSC staff, join us on the day of the event to serve as shoppers, translators, and registration assistance.
Thanks to your generosity and commitment, this year we were able to fill over 1000 backpacks with essential school supplies for students in need on the day of the event. Additionally, 100 more backpacks were filled and delivered to students in the weeks after the start of school.
Several community resource partners joined us at the event, sharing their services and providing support to our families. We were also proud to share information about upcoming free vaccination clinics in the Avon community, ensuring our students were ready and safe for the new school year.

A lot of preparation goes into the week leading up to Supply it Forward. From heavy lifting, organizing, and book sorting, our volunteers were amazing and we couldn’t have done this without them!
Hygiene kits were packed by volunteers during the week and distributed to every child at the event.
