Grant Application Guidelines

AEF Helping Hands Grants will provide up to $500 to any ACSC employee for the materials, supplies, or any items needed to provide a helping hand so that you and your students can continue to be creative, innovative and excellent.  Please note that we cannot fund food, furniture, or incentives.  

Amazon is the preferred way to purchase, and we request you submit an Amazon Wishlist with the items you wish to purchase.  If the items are not available through Amazon, AEF will work with you to purchase the items.  

A grant report must be submitted to AEF within 30 days of completion of the project and no later than the conclusion of the academic year in which the application was submitted.  Employees will be required to submit a few photos or videos for proof of performance once the grant is implemented.  Photos are important for showing the community and sponsors how grant funds are being used and thanking them for supporting Avon schools. 

Employees are only eligible for one Helping Hand Grant per school year. If you would like to apply as a school, grade, department, etc. please contact the AEF office to discuss. Applicants must apply online through the form below and must have permission from the school principal or direct supervisor to apply.  

All items purchased through Avon Education Foundation grants are the property of AEF and the Avon Community School Corporation.
